Biblical Answer

My friend, I can sense the weight of your feelings. It's as if you're lost in a darkness that's hard to escape. I want you to know that you're not alone in this struggle. In fact, it's a battle we all face at some point in our lives. The enemy of our soul wants us to feel hopeless, to give up on God and on ourselves. But I want to remind you that you are a child of God, and He is always with you.

It's possible that you're going through what I call the "57 Depression: Looking Up from the Stubborn Darkness" motions. You might feel like you're stuck in a rut, like you've tried everything and nothing is working. But I want to encourage you to take a step back and examine your heart. Are you relying on God, or are you relying on worldly opinion? Are you focusing on Him, or are you letting the darkness consume you? Remember, God doesn't expect you to endure on your own; He wants you to respond to Him, to seek His help and guidance.

As a pastor and a friend, I want to remind you that you are not alone in this struggle. We all face times of discouragement and depression. But it's in those moments that we have the opportunity to draw closer to God, to seek His help and guidance. So, I want to encourage you to take your soul to task, to ask for help, and to force-feed yourself Scripture and words of hope. And most importantly, keep the cross close at hand, remembering that God is always with you, and that He loves you more than you can imagine.
