Biblical Answer

When we pray and don't see immediate answers, it can be frustrating and lead to questions like "Why doesn't God help me?" or "Why doesn't God save me?" However, it's essential to understand that God's help and salvation are not just about getting what we want or avoiding trouble. It's about having a personal relationship with Him and entering into a right-standing relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches us that God's aid for us is Christ alone (Romans 8:26-27), and it's through Him that we can have strength to overcome any challenge (Philippians 4:11-13).

Sometimes, God doesn't answer our prayers because we don't really believe He will answer. We may not be fully trusting in His goodness and sovereignty, and our unbelief can hinder our prayers from being answered. Additionally, God may not answer our prayers because the timing isn't right, or what we're asking for isn't in our best interests. As the Bible says, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). God's ways are not our ways, and His timing is not our timing.

It's also essential to understand that God's help is not just about doing things for us, but also about being with us in our troubles. The Bible teaches us that God is with us, even in the midst of suffering, and that He can use our trials to shape us and make us more like Christ. As the Psalmist says, "Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer; and by night, but find no rest" (Psalm 22:1-2). However, even in the midst of unanswered prayers, we can find comfort in knowing that God is with us and that He is working all things together for our good.
