Biblical Answer

The question of whether God cares about our prayers can be a source of frustration and doubt. It's as if we're asking God to do something for us, but He's not responding. However, this perspective misses the point of prayer. Prayer is not about getting God to do something for us, but about having a relationship with Him. When we pray, we're not just asking for answers, but we're also expressing our trust in God and aligning ourselves with His will.

In fact, Jesus taught us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), not just because God needs to know what we need, but because prayer is a means of expressing our trust in Him. Our Father knows what we need before we ask Him (Matthew 6:8), but prayer is still essential because it helps us to discern His will and to be still and listen to Him. Sometimes, we have to be still and listen to God, and prayer can be a means of discerning His will.

The point of prayer is not to get answers from God, but to have perfect and complete oneness with Him. If we pray only because we want answers, we will become irritated and angry with God. We receive an answer every time we pray, but it does not always look like what we expected. Prayer is not a means of getting what we want from God, but of having an ongoing conversation and building an intimate relationship with Him. As we pray, we're not just asking for answers, but we're also expressing our trust in God and aligning ourselves with His will.
