Can I still be a good parent when I'm in pain?

The Reality of Pain in Parenting

Pain is a reality that many parents face, whether it's emotional, physical, or spiritual pain. The Bible acknowledges that suffering is a part of life, even for parents. The Bible teaches that prayer is a powerful tool for overcoming evil and for seeking God's guidance and strength (1 John 5:14-15). As a parent, you can become a prayer warrior and go to battle against the forces of evil on your child's behalf. This doesn't mean that you'll always be able to avoid pain, but it does mean that you can face it with confidence and hope, knowing that God is with you and your child. By praying for your child and for your own heart, you can find the strength and courage to be a good parent even in the midst of pain.
