Your Question:
How do I keep going when everything feels like it's against me?
Answer:
My friend, I can sense the weight of the world bearing down on you, and I want you to know that I've been there too. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with feelings of hopelessness and despair, but I've also seen them find their way back to faith and purpose. When everything feels like it's against you, it's easy to get caught up in negative thoughts and feelings of self-pity. But I want to encourage you to look beyond the roadblocks in your life and focus on God, who is your Problem-Solver. Remember, faith is not based on any victory you've ever won, but on the Word of God. When you're facing opposition, it's easy to feel like giving up, but that's exactly what Satan wants you to do. He wants to get you so focused on your problems that you can't see God. But I want to remind you that God is seeking you more than you are seeking Him. When you look beyond the roadblocks, you'll see that He is always present and always working in your life. As the psalmist said, "The Lord is my helper" (Psalm 121:2). So, what do you do when you're feeling stuck and overwhelmed? First, take a step back and identify what's keeping you from making a decision. Is it sin, doubt, or fear? Whatever it is, confess it and ask God to break it in you. Remember, God is always with you, and He is never going to leave you. He wants to help you, but you have to take the first step and trust Him. As I always say, "Make a decision, then make it work." Don't let Satan get the best of you; choose to trust in God and move forward, even when it's hard.
