When Everything Feels Against You

Have you ever felt like everything is against you? Like you're standing at a crossroads, and no matter which path you choose, it's going to lead to more struggles? This is a common experience for many people, and it's especially true when we're facing spiritual battles. The enemy loves to whisper lies into our ears, telling us that we're not good enough, that we're failures, and that we'll never be able to overcome our struggles.

The Battle for Your Mind

The enemy's main ploy is to go after our minds, to fill them with fear, despair, and temptation. But we don't have to entertain his voice. Through Christ, we can move to a place of victory in our lives. This happens when we learn to win the battle for our minds. We can do this by confronting the lies that the enemy tells us and replacing them with the truth of God's Word. We can also seek out wise counsel from people who have gone through similar experiences and learn to engage in the struggle, rather than trying to survive the day. Remember, the Spirit is at work in our lives, and if we're feeling stuck, it's because we're not engaging with Him.

Looking to God for Help

So, what can we do when everything feels like it's against us? First, we need to look to God. We need to wake ourselves up and build our hope on Him. No matter how many things seem to be pressing in on us, we need to push them aside and look to Him. Remember, salvation is ours the moment we look to Him. We don't have to entertain the enemy's voice; we can find encouragement, hope, and strength in the midst of our valleys. And we're not alone in this battle; God is with us, and He preaches the same message to Himself as He does to us: "I'm in this battle with you." So, let's take a deep breath, look to God, and trust that He will help us overcome our struggles. Let's not give up, even when everything feels like it's against us. We can do this, with God's help.
