Can I really give up on my dreams? The Bible teaches us that God delights to answer our prayers, but He also wants us to be sure that our dreams are in line with His will. Sometimes our selfish ambitions get in the way, and we don't receive what we ask for because we're asking for the wrong reasons. As the Bible says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
