The Complexity of Wishing

Wishing is a natural and universal human experience. We all wish for things, whether it's good health, happiness, success, or a different diagnosis. However, the question remains whether it's wrong to wish for a different diagnosis, especially when faced with a terminal illness. From a biblical perspective, God is sovereign over all creation, including our health and well-being. As the Bible says, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). By trusting in God's sovereignty and goodness, we can find peace, hope, and comfort, even in the face of a terminal diagnosis.
