So, what does love look like in the midst of chaos when life gets busy? It looks like a commitment to serve and love one another, even when feelings are not present. It looks like a willingness to put the needs of others before our own, even when it is difficult. It looks like a trust in God's sovereignty and goodness, even when things are not going as planned. And it looks like a recognition that love is not just a feeling, but a choice that we make every day. As the Bible says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). This is the kind of love that can thrive even in the midst of chaos.
