Biblical Answer

The Bible teaches that strength is not about hiding or denying our weaknesses, but about embracing them as opportunities for God's power to be made perfect in us. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul writes, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" This verse highlights the paradox that true strength is found in weakness, and that God's power is made perfect in our vulnerabilities. Rather than trying to hide or deny our weaknesses, we should learn to boast about them, as Paul does, so that God's power may rest on us.

In order to find strength in our weaknesses, we need to learn to recognize and acknowledge them. This requires a willingness to be honest with ourselves and others about our struggles and limitations. As the Bible says, "If you see yourself in this scenario, there is only one way to get your strength back: get down on your knees, confess your sins and ask Jesus Christ to pull the arrows out!" (emphasis added). This means that we need to be willing to confront our weaknesses and seek God's help in overcoming them. By doing so, we can learn to rely on God's power and strength, rather than our own, and find true victory over our weaknesses.

As we learn to find strength in our weaknesses, we can also learn to pray for others who are struggling with their own weaknesses. Rather than trying to prevent their struggles or offer quick fixes, we can pray that their difficulties will grow even stronger, so that God's power can be made perfect in them as well. By doing so, we can demonstrate our commitment to serving others and helping them to find true strength in their weaknesses. As the Bible says, "And when you begin to see that person in the middle of a difficult and painful struggle, dont try to prevent it, but pray that his difficulty will grow even ten times stronger, until no power can stand against him" (emphasis added). This approach requires patience, humility, and a willingness to trust in God's power and strength, rather than our own.
