The Purpose of Faith

The question "What's the point of having faith if God doesn't protect me?" reveals a misunderstanding of the nature of faith. Faith is not about expecting God to solve our problems or protect us from harm, but about trusting in His goodness and sovereignty, even in the midst of difficulties. The Bible teaches that faith is the means by which we receive justification, and it is the exact opposite of depending on ourselves (Romans 3:28). Faith and Protection
