My friend, I can see the desperation in your eyes. You've lost everything, and it's a difficult place to be. But let me tell you, as someone who's been through my own share of struggles and setbacks, today is a new day. It's a chance for you to start anew, to make different choices, and to pursue your dreams. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with feelings of regret and loss, but I've also seen them find hope and redemption.

You see, my friend, you can't change the past, but you can shape the future. And that's exactly what you need to focus on right now. Don't dwell on what's been lost, but instead, look to what can be gained. Think about the things you've always wanted to do, the places you've always wanted to go, and the people you've always wanted to meet. Today is a new opportunity to make those things happen. As I always say to my congregation, "Today counts." It's the most important day in your life, and it's up to you to make the most of it.

As a father, I've learned that it's not about what we've accomplished in the past, but about who we are today and who we're becoming tomorrow. My son Joshua and daughter Rebecca, they're both growing and learning every day, and it's a privilege to be a part of their journey. And as for me, I'm grateful for the blessings I have, including my wonderful wife Susan and our family. So, my friend, I urge you to hold onto hope, to trust in a higher power, and to look to the future with optimism and faith. Today is a new day, full of possibilities and promise.
