Can I still trust God when life is unfair?

Trust in God is not about getting what we want when we want it, but about trusting in His sovereignty and goodness, even when life seems unfair. The Bible teaches that God is just and fair, even when His actions don't seem to be fair to us (Matthew 20:1-16). In the parable of the workers in the field, everyone received a full day's wage, despite some working only a short time. This teaches us that God's justice and fairness are not based on our human understanding of fairness, but on His perfect and loving character.

When life seems unfair, it's easy to question God's goodness and sovereignty. We may feel like we're not getting the success or happiness we desire, and we may wonder if God is even listening to our prayers. But the truth is, God is always working, even when we can't see it. He is always speaking, even when we don't hear it. And He is always loving, even when we don't feel it. The Bible says, "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9). This means that God's ways and thoughts are not limited by our human understanding of fairness or justice.
