Biblical Answer

The Bible says a great deal about money, but not all of it is about the amount of money one has. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and this is a major concern for Christians. Jesus taught that it was harder for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle (Matthew 19:24). The love of money can lead to greed, idolatry, and a lack of contentment. In the Bible, we are encouraged to trust God for our daily needs and to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We are also warned against loving money, as it will not bring us happiness or fulfillment.

The Bible also warns against the dangers of loving money in eternity. Jesus teaches that you cannot buy happiness, and that loving money will let us down (Ecclesiastes 5:10). The love of money can lead to a lack of contentment, and can even hinder our spiritual commitment and relationships with others in the church. The Bible encourages us to trust God for our daily needs and to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, rather than relying on our wealth for happiness and fulfillment.
