Biblical Answer

If you do not believe in Jesus, it can have serious consequences. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the only way to salvation and that those who do not believe in him will not experience salvation but judgment (John 3:36, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9). The resurrected Jesus would not reveal himself to those who did not believe in him, and they would die unforgiven in their unbelief (John 12:48). This is because Jesus is the only mediator between God and humanity, and without faith in him, there is no forgiveness of sins (1 Timothy 2:5).

The consequences of not believing in Jesus are severe. The Bible warns that those who do not believe in Jesus will face judgment and eternal separation from God (Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 20:11-15). This is because Jesus is the ultimate authority and the only one who can forgive sins and bring people to God (John 14:6). Those who do not believe in him will be denied the opportunity to experience the love, mercy, and forgiveness of God, and will instead face the ultimate denial of God's presence and blessing.

The Bible also teaches that unbelief can have a devastating impact on a person's life. Unbelief can lead to spiritual darkness, depression, anxiety, and a sense of hopelessness (Psalm 119:137, Matthew 8:26). It can also lead to a sense of isolation and disconnection from God and from others (Isaiah 59:2). Ultimately, the Bible teaches that unbelief is a serious sin that can have eternal consequences, and that faith in Jesus is the only way to experience forgiveness, peace, and eternal life.
