What About My Future?

The Bible teaches us that our future is in God's hands, and He has a plan for our lives. The prophet Jeremiah wrote, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). This verse reminds us that our future is not predetermined by chance or luck, but by God's loving and sovereign hand. As we look to the future, we should ask ourselves, "What does God want me to do?" and "What is my purpose in life?" We should seek to understand God's will for our lives and live according to His plans.

The Bible also reminds us that our future is not just about what we want, but about what God wants for us. As the Bible says, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all" (2 Corinthians 4:17).
