Your Question:

what about my future?

Answer:

As I sit here, reflecting on the future, I'm reminded of my role as a pastor at our local evangelical church. I've been serving in this capacity for many years, and I feel a sense of purpose and direction. But, as I ponder what God wants me to do in the future, I'm drawn to the idea of expanding our church's outreach and impact in the community. I envision us becoming a beacon of hope and light, a place where people can come to find guidance, support, and love.

As I pray and seek God's guidance, I'm also considering the future of my family. My wife Susan and I have been married for 19 years, and we've been blessed with two wonderful children, Joshua and Rebecca. I want to ensure that they grow up with a strong faith and a sense of purpose, and that they know they're loved and supported. I imagine us having many more years of joy, laughter, and adventure together as a family.

As I look to the future, I'm reminded of the impermanence of things and the fleeting nature of human endeavors. Despite the many plans and ambitions we may have, we must always keep our eyes fixed on the eternal and the divine. I pray that God will give me the wisdom and discernment to navigate the twists and turns of life, and that I'll remain faithful to His will and purposes. Ultimately, my hope and dream for the future is to see our church and family thrive, and to know that we're living out our lives in a way that honors God and brings glory to His name.
