Why did God let my business fail?

It is natural to wonder why God would allow a business to fail, especially when it was something that was important to us. However, we must remember that our relationship with God is not an employer-employee one, but rather a friend-to-friend relationship. God's actions are not driven by a desire to reward or punish us, but rather by His sovereign will.

As we look at the story of Job, we see that he questioned God's goodness when he suffered, but ultimately submitted to God without demanding an explanation. This is an important lesson for us, as we seek to understand God's ways. We may not always understand why our business failed, but we can trust that God is working everything out for our good. We can also learn to see our failures as opportunities to grow and learn, just as Job did.

When we ask why God let our business fail, we may be asking the wrong question. Instead of asking why God did not intervene, we can ask what we can learn from our failure. What are we doing that is not pleasing to God? What are we trusting in, rather than God? By asking these questions, we can come to a deeper understanding of God's sovereignty and our place in His plan. We can also learn to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, even when things don't go as we planned. Ultimately, our goal should not be to succeed in business, but to honor God in all that we do. If our business fails, we can still honor God by trusting in Him and learning from our experience.
