In times of uncertainty and chaos, it's natural to feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to prioritize our values. However, the Bible reminds us that our values should guide us, not the circumstances of life. As 1 John 3:2 says, "We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He is." This verse encourages us to focus on our values, which are rooted in our relationship with God, rather than trying to control the uncontrollable.

In order to prioritize our values, we must first identify what is truly important to us. This requires taking the time to reflect on our values and goals, and considering how they align with God's will. As Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." By submitting to God's sovereignty, we can trust that He will guide us in making decisions that align with our values. This requires us to let go of our need for control and instead, trust in God's goodness and wisdom.

In times of uncertainty, it's tempting to try to control everything and make sure that things turn out exactly as we want them to. However, this approach often leads to anxiety and burnout. Instead, we can prioritize our values by focusing on what is truly important, and trusting that God is working everything out for our good. As Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." By trusting in God's sovereignty and prioritizing our values, we can find peace and contentment, even in the midst of chaos.
